Question: Can we trust what the New Testament says about Jesus?

Yes, we can trust what the New Testament says about Jesus because in the New Testament we have three things.

1. We have early witnesses of Jesus (first century).

2. We have eyewitnesses of Jesus (the disciples).

3. We have multiple witnesses of Jesus (different books).

None of this is true of the Quran and of what the Quran says about Jesus.

Question: Is Jesus God or Jesus the Son of God?

Jesus is both.

‘God’ describes what Jesus is (Jesus is divine) and ‘Son of God’ describes who Jesus is in relation to the Father (Jesus is the Son of God, ‘God’ being the Father in this case).

For example, every male human (except Adam and Jesus) is both human and the son of a human.
